  • A Whole Bunch of Stuff

    Here we go, 2 weeks in 1 post. I will go backwards.  (all the photos are from my Instagram (Empathic_Heart)

    Let's start with today first. It was pretty sunny and hot today. I went to Seven Peaks for a few hours with my sister, ben, and my nieces. Sometimes I have a bad habit of still calling him my brother in law, when he is no longer my brother in law. I just noticed that a few weeks ago.

    I went down this tube slide that is very dark called "Cave in". I actually went down it twice, and the 2nd time the lifeguard accidentally sent me down backwards. It was so scary because there is quite a few twists and turns and some minor drops. I of course couldn't see where I was going because I was facing backwards and because it was dark. It was so much fun going backwards though. I got a bit dizzy for a minute or two after I went on for the 2nd time.

    I also went down a regular slide called "Flash Flood" before they closed. They have two slides side by side and people like to race. I raced with my sister. It's called "Flash Flood' because they actually release a flood of water to help you start at the beginning. My sister beat me down. I got some water in my nose at the bottom because I got disoriented fora  second in the water and had to let go of my nose. it kind of stung a little, but it was okay.

    I spent some time in the wave pool for a while and did the regular rubs slide a few times. I also did some tanning.

    We had a picnic at the water park sometime during the time we were there. We had to go tot he park's picnic area. We had sand witches, granola bars, cheez its, Oreos, and Capri Sun.

    Besides this I have just been watching Lincoln Heights on Hulu Plus Listening, to music, and watching Sailor Moon.  I actually finished the Alien arc, it's the 2nd arc in the anime, and hung around the house.

    Today is also the day I was SUPPOSED to be born according to the doctors.  I was born on the 4th though as you will see further down.

    My sister's new music video came out today.


    The 16th

    There is this charity event they hold every Monday night around 9pm. They have people vote on a movie, and then we watch it out doors. It's called 'Flix for Charity'. We have it behind our local Elementary school. This week we couldn't have it though, because we were sure the weather was going to stay rainy, windy, and cloudy. It ended up clearing up in the evening before the time we usually have it, but it stayed cancelled until next week. They were going to show "the Princess Bride'.

    We were going to do a water fight at the nearby park as well, but that was cancelled. That was what we were going to do for ward Family Home Evening.  We ended up going to Marcie's house and reading our favorite children's stories. Marcie gave us some chocolate covered gummy snakes to try that were from Australia. I didn't ready anything, but other people had some pretty great stories.

    The weather on this day started out nice, but turned cloudy, windy, and rainy, and then cleared up again.

    The 15th

    I just went to church as usual. I don't remember what we talked about, it's kind of blurry now.

    My mom made Creamed tuna and eggs over rice. It's actually pretty good. We also had some left over garlic bread from the night before. We had a whole loaf left.

    We finished off the leftover of the day before that I will mention in a bit.

    My sister in law, Kyla came over with my niece, and my brother again. It's always nice to see them.

    Ward prayer was actually held at the house my childhood best friend Brooke used to live in. Someone else lives there now, it was so weird being in that house for the first time in I think 7 or 8 years. It looked a lot different and it made me a little teary eyed and nostalgic.

    The weather was cloudy with light sprinkles on this day at first, but cleared up after church rather quickly.

    The picture below is Ducky. Some people slept with teddy bears, some people slept with dolls, but I slept with ducky. :)

    The 14th

    We went to Costco, and I bought some bread, hummus, and ice cream bars. I bought some pizza and a smoothie on my way out with my sister since she went and got something too. It was windy and cloudy

    It rained a little, and I walked inn it. It felt really extra nice. This was actually before Costco.

    My sister made tuna casserole, and Ben (my ex brother in law) bought some snicker doodles, the garlic bread we are the day after, and some Oreo and Reese's ice cream.

    We all stretched for a while while watching Robin Hood on Netflix before dinner. Ben was instructing Natalie and teaching her about stretches. I was actually doing a mixture of stretching and doing resistance cord workouts.

    The 12th and 13th

    Honestly nothing worth noting happened on these days. I just did my usual and played phone games. I finally figured out Robot Unicorn though. And Friday the 13th happened, that is always a good day.

    My family loves popcorn. Home made popcorn is like a tradition.

    The 11th

    Got to know one of my sister's friends that just happens to be a writer for Phineas and Ferb.

    My sister is doing something for Phineas and ferb, but I will not spoil it.

    I ordered the Phineas, Ferb, and Perry plushies off of the Disney Store.

    I did a post on Xanga. The stuff above happened after that post.

    The 10th

    Nothing happened besides my usual stuff around the house,

    I learned that there is going to be a New Sailor Moon anime next year in 2013. I started reading the manga, and watching the old series over again. I also told my friends about the new series. I met a lot of my friends on a Sailor Moon fan site 6 years ago and we are still friends now. We are actually pretty close. I made so many friends on that website. i'll have to tell you the story sometime.

    The 9th

    This is the day I found out about the Flix For Charity thing. They played "cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" last week. I got a text earlier in the day telling me about the movie. At first I just thought that it was a ward thing, but there were so many people there and I found out later that it was a charity thing that they do every week.  I had so much fun and the sky was so clear.  I kind of wished I brought something to eat there though like popcorn or something.

    We went to a really pretty park for FHE. It had these swings that could spin around if you pulled the swing a little bit. It also had some really nice pavilions, and a really pretty duck pond. We spent about an hour and a half there doing random stuff. Most of us played volley ball, and some of us (like me) just wandered around. I will put the pictures below.

    The 8th

    Nothing but church and the usual happened. I do remember we had a lesson on the dangers of false doctrine though.

    The 7th

    Went to 7 Peaks water park and did the usual. There are these metal bars on the sides of the wave pool you can hold onto to stay above the waves, I did some pull ups on those while the waves were going.

    Went to Best Buy and bought "Tetris Party Deluxe' for DS.

    Worked out with my resistance band for the 2nd day. My soreness was about at it's max by now, but not quite. My pull ups didn't help the soreness very much.

    The 6th and 5th

    Nothing much, just worked out mostly and learned new stretch band workouts.  I was still burned out from the events on my birthday (below).

    The 4th

    On my birthday I woke up, got dressed in my new khaki shorts, and my red shirt that had silver butterflies, and red and blue stars and part of the butterfly was also red and blue. I'll have to take a picture and show you sometime. I put some snacks in a plastic bag for the parade. I brought some Sun Chips, cheese sticks, and Sobe Lifewater.

    We left after this and went to the parade. We managed to find a parking space after forever, it was pretty hard.  My mom wasn't sure if it was okay where it was. We sat at the beginning of the parade rout in a pretty good spot under the shade. We had chairs and stuff too that people said we could sit in. I wanted to sit with my relatives however so after a while my mom made sure our parking spot was safe. I was really insistent on sitting with my relatives, I did not want to sit alone. We walked 8 blocks along the parade route to my relatives and we watched the parade as we went along. I have to admit I regret leaving that spot, it was pretty good.

    We watched the rest of the parade with my relatives, and I snacked on my food. We only had to walk 5 blocks back to the car because we could use the short way now that we weren't going along the parade route. 

    We went to Jamba Juice after this and we all got smoothies. I got a Mega Mango smoothie.

    We went home for a while and I just hung around watching Hercules I think.

    We went to a picnic after a couple of hours and my Aunt's house. A lot of the people that were at the parade were there.  We had hamburgers and hotdogs, chips, fruit, salad, and some other stuff. I played Flow on my phone and "Where's my Perry?" a lot while I was there.  We had a chocolate cake and sang happy birthday to me while I was there. My aunt bought me the chocolate cake. I actually think I remember there was 2 of them. We also had my cheesecake that I bought the day before.

    We went home after spending a few hours there. I logged into Destiny Online which I don't do very often anymore, and hung out with my friends for a little bit.

    I was feeling a bit down on this day because sometimes I feel like my birthday really isn't my day, but everyone else's day. We watched "Once Upon a Time on Hulu Plus on our TV for a while and debated weather or not we would go to the fireworks. I was in a kind of bad mood and almost didn't go to the fireworks. We ended up going even though some of us were tired and burned out. We went to some fireworks around Thanksgiving point. I will put the video up below.

    We went up near the mountains around a place where we could see the fire that started the day before after this.  We then went home and did our own thing after this. All in all it was a great day.

    The 3rd

    I did nothing much this day, just went to Costco and bought some stuff for the parade, bought my cheesecake, and went to Harmons and bought my cheesecake topping (cherry).
