  • Just Another Hot Summer Day

    Starcloud: A pony I made.

    Today I woke up a half an hour after my alarm went off. I have an alarm cloth radio, and sometimes on occasion I sleep right through the first one. It doesn't happen very often. I just kind of lied there for 15 minutes just thinking about various things. I think I had another dream with Darik in it last night. I usually don't remember them a lot of the time though, I guess dreams are like that sometimes though. I kind of guessed this because he WAS the first thing I thought of when I woke up.

    I read a few new entries from my subscription feed on my xanga app on my phone. I surfed Xanga for a while and then got out of bed, got dressed, got on my computer and got on Xanga yet again. While I was surfing the site I came upon this entry that spoke of a little girl that believed in the tooth fairy. I thought it was really cute. It sparked a memory in me from long ago as well.

    I remember this time when I was still in my single digits. It was on the night of Christmas eve, I had just opened a pair of Barbie themed footie pajamas a few hours ago. It has always been a tradition in my family to open pajamas the night before Christmas. There also was this tradition where all my siblings would have a sleepover on Christmas eve. We had it in my sister Linda's room that year. I remember it was sometime in the middle of the night, I had woken up for some reason. I still believed in Santa back then. I remember just lying there and listening very closely for Santa's sleigh bells. I had this thought after a few minutes that I probably wasn't supposed to know when Santa came so i gave that up and went back to sleep. I was kind of afraid that if I kept listening that Santa wouldn't come because he was waiting for me to stop listening.

    Anyway, that was the memory that I was thinking of at the time. After I was done on Xanga I listened to music for a little bit and then went upstairs. I had Coco Krispies for breakfast and then put on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. I remember hoping that something interesting would happen today. Nothing that interesting happened for a few hours, just my usual stuff.

    After a while I decided I would go and search for the poems I haven't shared on my blog yet, but that I have been meaning to. I went to my facebook profile, and searched my timeline and notes. By the time I was done I gathered 11 poems, including one i completely forgot about from back in 2009, and one story poem that I wrote a long time ago.  I got those together, in a Google doc to prepare for reading them out loud for the audio portion of the upcoming blog i will be doing containing  all 11 poems. I can only do the audio on Xanga though, so for those of you who read this on blogger instead of xanga I will link yo to that when the time comes since I can't upload audio to blogger.

    I watched Hercules again a little bit after this. i went with my dad to pick up my mom from work. After we picked her up from work we headed over to Costco. We picked up a few things like fruits and vegetables, milk, some meat, and other stuff. I ended up not buying anything. I was tempted to get this popcorn stuff that has cheddar and Carmel popcorn in it. We ended up going back to Good Earth where my mom works and we got some coconut butter, and i got some Kefir, it's like a yogurt smoothie. I got the cherry flavor this time, when I got one a few weeks ago I got mango. It's really super good and healthy.

    We went back home after this. We had tacos a bit later. We used our really big tortillas we bought at the store. I ate two actually I was so hungry. After I ate, I went downstairs and re-did my Xanga theme. I wanted something a little more colorful with stars.I also changed my profile picture. 

    I think I'll just post this now since I don't think anything else is going to happen.  If something does happen I'll edit.
