  • Leave the Butterflies Alone

I just thought it would be fun to show this picture. I really like this shirt. I just bought it 12 days ago, it is my favorite. I've always been a huge supergirl fan. I think it goes with my personality really well. It has sparkles all over it but you can't really tell.

So, soon after I published my last entry I started moving some posts I have on here that I didn't have on Xanga. It took me about 40 minutes to do that. It was around 12:30 midnight. After i did that I turned out the lights and watched Phineas and Ferb until I was sleepy, than I went to sleep.

In the morning I woke up and just went straight to Phineas and Ferb. I watched the movie, and surfed Xanga a bit, and then had some apple juice.

I found my niece with a butterfly net, she wanted to catch a butterfly and keep it as a pet. She is 10 years old and doesn't know very much about butterflies. I think I have managed to talk her out of it, but it took some talking. We were kind of mildly arguing about it and sharing each others point of view on the subject. I kept on telling her that butterflies were never meant to be captive, they were born to be free and that is the way it should be. She kept on insisting that she would like to have on in a jar, and I kept on telling her it probably would not survive in there. Than after this she started suggesting other bugs that she could capture and I told her that mom doesn't want to have any bugs in the house, she is trying to keep bugs OUT of the house.  I really ope she does not pursue butterfly hunting, at least not now anyway. I thin she still has some more learning to do before she starts taking care of bugs.

Anyway, so i think I got her off of that after I put on Phineas and Ferb for a few hours. She grabbed her DS while we were watching it and she just played it while we were watching Phineas and Ferb. I am really glad I have gotten them to watch it. I think it is fun watching it alone, but it is even more fun watching it with family.  I usually have to be careful when I watch it upstairs though on our big TV like I was doing because if I watch too much my sister sometimes gets annoyed with it after a while. I understand though, some parts of the show do repeat (and Doofenshmirtz can't sing at ALL). i try to keep it below 10 episodes a day.

I was kind of surfing Xanga at the same time I was watching P&F with my nieces.

I started cleaning out my xanga subscriptions after I was done doing that with my nieces. I just kind of hung out around the house writing some other stuff after this for a whie.

surfed the apple store, played with instagram a little, checked out some old websites I used to go to, and watched Hercules: The Legendary Journeys for a few hours. Nothing much has happened since then. I'm probably just going to surf Xanga for the rest of the night and probably read a little bit.

I guess this is all for today.

    EDIT: Went to the store.

  • Sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday and we went to the ocean and parked where hubby could take off his oxygen and breathe in the salt air.  Then we drove out to the docks and son stayed with hubby in the car while I walked down and bought some fresh cooked and cleaned crab.

Been home watching movies and cleaning rest of the day.
