  • Father's Day

So today I REALLY did not want to get out of bed. I wrestled with the decision to go back to sleep for probably 10 minutes. I was going to get up at ten to wash my hair, but I decided it wasn't that bad and I was feeling really tired and lazy so I just put on phineas and ferb and just went back to sleep.

I woke up again around 11:45. I walked upstairs like a zombie after putting on a red shirt and ate some Captain Crunch.  I walked downstairs like a zombie again and made sure my ride to church (Marcie) was coming. After this I just played tetris and other games on my phone until she came.

While in the car we just talked about what we had been doing this week. I told her about going to the pool and the other things I did this week. It is always fun driving with Marcie, she always has a good sense of humor and makes everything more lively and fun.

when we got to church I just sat in the foyer for a few minutes and read the scriptures. I went to Relief Society after this and basically was reading the Book Of Mormon the whole first hour. After the first hour I chose which Sunday school class I wanted to go to.

I decided to stay in the room I was in. As it do happens the lesson was about the same part of the scriptures I am on now, and that I was reading (Alma 8 -13).  It was fun to be able to know a lot about the lesson and participate.

After Sunday school was done we had to wait in the hall for another ward to get out of sacrament meeting.  It took about around 10 minutes, then we went in. Just the usual sacrament meeting stuff happened. i actually don’t remember what was talked about because I was reading the scriptures the whole time. I think I read 10 chapters during church.

After sacrament meeting I went home with another friend named Jordin, because Marcie had to go to work. I had to stay a little bit after church ended because Jordin had to be set apart for a new church calling. I didn’t mind at all though. I had managed to get my phone down to 9% by this time (it was only at 50% at the very beginning of church).  We went home after she was done.

When i got home I asked my mom what was for dinner and she said beef stroganoff. She forgot to get mushrooms this time though. Honestly though, I wasn’t all that sad about that because I don’t even like mushrooms that much. After this I went downstairs and got into my normal clothes, and then put on the new episode of phineas and Ferb that isn’t even supposed to be on until later this week. I guess someone got it somehow and now a bunch of people have put it on YouTube.

I surfed Xanga for a few minutes after this, and checked to see if my audio stuff on Xanga was still working. I discovered there is a problem with playing my audio files in Firefox, at least for me anyway. I am not sure if it will happen for anyone else. I tried it in chrome and it worked though. I then opened Audacity and did a few mic tests to see how far or close my mic needs to be away from my mouth in order to sound good. I discovered that if I put the mic on my Logitech headset just below my eye it gets the best sound quality. I haven’t used Audacity or my mic on my headset since I got this new laptop, so I didn’t know yet. I think the sound comes out really good with this mic if you have it at the right position, but if you have it too close it get’s too loud and gets all gritty and weird sounding. i don’t really know how to fix that, so I just adjust how far away from my mouth it is usually.

I went upstairs and helped clear and clean the table for dinner after this, then hung around the kitchen for a few minutes. I went back downstairs after this and played Tetris 5 player sprint, I did at least 5 rounds and lost them all haha. I am at the level on 5 player sprint where I am with people around the same level or higher than me so far as skill goes.  I am rank 11 in sprint 5 player and tend to roller coaster up and down ranks because of the competition, just like I do in Tetris Arena on Tetris Friends.

I checked facebook, Xanga, and blogger, then I went upstairs to eat dinner. My niece showed me a few pictures that she had drawn, one of them is the roman warrior you will see below. I have made the mistake in the past of ignoring her drawings. I just had to snap a picture with my phone and upload it to my blog. We are dinner after this. We had beef stroganoff, broccoli, carrots, and salad. We had the stroganoff over rice instead of noodles this time.  My mom was making lime (last time it was lemon) icebox pudding the whole time everyone was eating. We talked a lot about geneology at dinner tonight, it was pretty interesting.  AfterI was done eating I went back downstairs.

I listened to music for a while and read some blogs, then headed to ward Prayer. Ward prayer is something we do almost every Sunday at 8:00. someone in my ward, in the church volunteers to have it at their house usually. We usually have a few thoughts, and a few people usually speak and say something spiritual, and then we usually say a prayer at the end and then have refreshments. it usually isn’t very long at all, like a half an hour or so.

They talked about hope and faith (I think) at ward prayer.i was kind of reading so I didn’t hear very much. We had sugar cookies, the kind with frosting and sprinkles afterward. I noticed that they had a drinking fountain in their house (it was pretty big too) I got a ride home from another one of my friends after I was done there. I was going to get a ride from Jordin, but she hadn’t brought her car.  When I got home the lime icebox pudding was ready. I had previously thought it was lemon, but my mom told me it was lime this time. I got some and went downstairs and ate it. I went back to watching Phineas and Ferb after this.

Below, Lime icebox pudding. Graham Cracker crumbs on top and bottom.

Well, I doubt anything else is going to happen so I’ll end here. If anything else does happen I will edit.
